A North Carolina treehouse – the kind you can live in – gained a lot of attention fast after it was featured in a HGTV Facebook post Wednesday morning.
The post encourages people who are hesitant to build their own treehouse to get a feel for what the structures are like by renting the featured one in Asheville.
The post was viewed more than 280,000 times and shared more than 5,000 times in a matter of hours.
The property is listed on Airbnb as a “Mountaintop Treehouse w/ Sunset Views,” from $285 per night. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, and two beds, and accommodates three people, according to the listing.
The Sanctuary treehouse, as it is called in the posts, is located within 10 minutes of downtown Asheville.
